I have to go buy a wrench for the end nut on the wheel assembly as I only have a 24mm wrench and it's not big enough. Anybody know what size the end nut is? Referring to the nut that sits on top of the Hub on top of the rotor, it's a gold/brass color and a cotter pin goes through it.

May possible be able or should be able to remove with channel locks. Not sure a crescent will fit. You can measure across then use a phone app converter to metric

Crescent wouldn't fit. It's bigger than 24mm but not sure how much bigger. The crescent wrench doesn't fit because of the studs.

Did you find this size yet?

Couldn't ever find a wrench in that size. From what I can tell by process of elimination it would be about 1 and 1/4" from the measurement on the crescent wrench, so about 32mm.

I finally have had time to look into this. I use a 1 3/16 socket which works out to 30mm. I did not mic the nut yet as I don't have time to remove the wheels at the moment.

I see plenty of 30mm options online but no local stores seems to carry a wrench that large. For me a crescent wouldn't work as I couldn't turn in between the studs. Anyone else get a crescent to work?

Then buy a 1 3/16 socket. It fits tight so there is not chance of damaging the nut. I know they must sell them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, online? Ha

Ya online they sell them for sure, just usually don't like buying tools online. You can't tell if they are going to rust or snap with pressure if I can't see it with my own two eyes lol. Out here the the rust is out of control so having nice quality tools makes a difference

If your going to buy online and looking for good quality. S&k is hard to beat, and they stand behind the product. I have a 3/4 drive rachet I abused for over 20 years. Took a 6'cheater pipe and three men on the end of it to finally strip it out. Tried to buy the parts to fix it and they sent it to me for free.

There isn't much stress on the tool for these nuts. And most like that size socket won't see much work besides these nuts.
