Having the issue that the fool described in his video. Thought I would add a bit. If you lengthen the adjustment on the right side of the shifter that controls the "plunger that selects 1/2 3/4 5/R then you can get R with ease but strangely the 5th gear disappears completely. So there is a point where raising the plunger farther then needed makes 5th unreachable. You can feel the 5th knotch when moving the lever but it feels like you need a farther forward throw to actually get the gear. The result is a 5th gear position for the shifter but you are in Neutral
It is a balance to the adjustment. So close that it is easy to over adjust either way. Once the adjustment is made and you find the sweet spot I haven't found that it needs to be re-adjusted. Also once you have adjusted. Go through the gears before assembling several times and in different patterns to make sure all movement and gears are working.
Another thing I have found. Go easy on lubing the shifter parts. The area is very prone to dust and over time the lube will take on dirt. Ideally a graphite lube is best as it reduces the dirt and dust collecting.
