I needed lockable space on the Reeper, so I could park it with out worrying that my stuff would disappear. I had this cover made by a local fabricator. It fits the existing bar rack. I know similar items are available by aftermarket providers, but I did not see any except with checkered plate. The fabricators estimate went from $70 - $80, to $200 when done. I was looking for a simple flat plate cover, and the fabricator went way beyond that. I use the original latch to hold it closed. I have a curved flat piece of metal that I slip under the lid to release the latch. The aluminum is pop-riveted to the metal tubing. Not exactly key locked, but locked if you don't know how to release the latch. Now I can keep my tools, GPS, winch controller and other stuff in the Reeper while I park it out in the public. It was not intended to keep rain out of the back, just people.
After a few days of using it, I noticed a rattle when off road. It was the aluminum sheet metal hitting the metal pipe rack. I put some plastic spacers between the sheet metal and the pipe and rattle gone. You might notice them in the first picture. I camo painted the cover, because I use the Reeper mostly off road.
I saw in another thread, using a hood lift to hold the cover open. I'll have to look into that, good idea.

I made my rack cover also, not as nice as yours... but I added 3/4" foam window/ door insulating tape around edge where pipe frame would hit on body panel. The foam works great for keeping 90% of the water out, snow 100%.
