So I just bought a 2014 reeper with 70 miles on it I'm doing some things to it and while under I find the rear pan covered in oil. It's definitely diff oil. I pull pan and diff was wet toward the front in area of front mounting bolt. I see no obvious seal leaking. I cleaned it all up with parts cleaner now. Checked level it was low so topped off. Now the waiting game. Is there any is there anything obvious that I should be seeing or looking for as a problem with these? It honestly almost appears to me that it's where the front input bearing housing attaches to the differential Maybe? Anything common?
When i got mine a few months back mine did the same thing and when i did a search i found out they over fill these alot and very easy todo ,make sure it has the right amount or mine spits out vent tube and look just like yours did ,once i put in the right about it went a way every once in a while there still get a little but more like residue then a puddle and i think when i switch to royal purple that goes away
