Fixed the broken intake camshaft and new connecting rods that were clearly bent. Went ahead and put in new pistons and rings while I was at it. Put everything together and it wouldn't start. At first I wasn't getting any spark from the coil pack but now suddenly I do... But still won't start... Well, it will but only after I take off the fuel line to the fuel rail. Then it starts and runs for about 30 seconds until the fuel that's in the engine is burnt up. Weak coil pack? Bad ecu?

If it will run on a small amount of fuel but not with the pump probably stuck pump regulator. its on the pump a small round thing about size of half dollar. you can dissemble the pump ever so carefully and push in the diaphragm of the regulator to test. But if its the regulator it cannot be bought separately that i know of. I had to get a pump. one can be had cheaper from Europe amazon for around $125 if i remember correctly. Its the same pump that a citrogen uses.
