(I posted this in your misfire thread, copied here for other MI owners that might have missed it there.)
I'm insured thru Encompass but after reading your Safeco posting I started shopping again. Safeco said no. State Farm said they will insure the Reeper. The Reeper alone quote was just under $600/6 months, With Three other vehicles, a travel trailer and the house the Reeper premium is $488/6 months. (Keith Byard Insurance Agency, Lapeer Mi.810-664-8925) This is Michigan No-Fault Full coverage. It was a small savings for the Reeper but all else was a little higher so a no-go. They do have a Reeper, DRX4 and a street legal RZR (grand fathered in) on their books for over a year so this should be good. Great Lakes Independent Insurance Agency, Lake Orion, Mi, 248-393-2400 found that Progressive will insure the Reeper in Michigan now. ( they wouldn't 3 years ago when I bought mine). I got a great quote on the trailer and three other vehicles with big savings BUT THE REEPER WAS OVER $2000/12m! The Comp/Collision was over $1500/12m. I'm thinking I'll pay the little guy off and go with Progressive with out the Comp/Collision.Huge savings and doesn't involve the house. I have 3 months left on the Encompass policy so no hurry. All quotes are for 100/300, Lowest deductible for comp., $500 deductible Broaden Collision. I included these phone numbers for reference, have your agent contact them for details if needed. Hope this helps.
