Winter has reared its ugly head up here in the winter wonderland of Michigan. Spending today digging out from what looks like 6 or so inches of the white stuff. Old blue is kind of in a state of rest, but hoping to get things bolted back together to play tomorrow. Saying a high of 20 degrees so have to get the top and sides back on as well.
Charging the GoPros in hopes of making a little video of me tearing something up. Whether it be snow or machine. LOL
It was 72 degrees here in DFW yesterday and cruzing was perfect. I'm not for all that white stuff and if we're lucky I wont see any this year. But I'm sure about Jan or Feb my luck will run out once or twice. Thats when my little reeper will stay in the house to keep the non driving SOB's from hitting it.
Well went and played for almost an hour. Somewhere in the area of 7 inches I would guess. You can see the Hercules tires bite well as I am still throwing up some dirt.
Not the best video as I had some issues with the GoPros and their program, but get the general idea. Nothing broke as far as I know and was probably between 3000 RPMs and redline most of the time. Mostly 2 wheel drive as 4 wheel the front tends to just push straight as the front tires are biting for traction. 2 wheel is when she likes to slide.
I have taken it out on the ice and I wanted to do the local Rally Club with my truck that races on the lake in town. But, this year has been to up and down on temperatures and rain so they haven't had the racing.
They wont let me race the Reeper unless I get a hard top. Otherwise they consider it a convertible and they don't allow those in any of their racing meets. Lake or land.
I have taken mine many a time out on the lakes in the area and it is fun as hell. This year the ice just cant be trusted.
