Hello to all, Have a question... Will be doing a body lift soon, have all hardware, etc. Looking at the factory mount, Noticing the bottom half of the mount/bushing fits of coarse in the larger frame hole opening, plus I noticed it helps keep bolt centered. Than you have the actual mount cup between frame and body. Is that a total one piece design? Or a two piece design, to where the cup mount (as Im calling it) comes off from the frame bushings? Like to always get a "game plan" in my head before beginning. If that is a one piece design, was planning on cutting the Cup mount part off, so to leave the lower frame bushing half in place. Keep the bolt centered and so on. Be great if that's a two piece design. Looking at the exploded view on parts listing. Looks like a one piece. I know a body lift shouldn't be rocket science, but would rather have the "what or if's" on hand before beginning.. Guys, any suggestions or tips you have, sure would be glad to hear them. Rather do it right.. Do it once.. Thank you in advance on this..

Leave the bushing going through the lower mount. The upper should come off and leave the lower part and basically like a flat washer to put the new riser on. At least that's how it was back in the day in 2012. LOL

Do them like this and you'll be ok reeperownersforum.com/attachment/download/1385Also read thru the forum under Exterior Mods and in it is a thread call Body Lift. If you read the forum you will find just about everything about these vehicles. Not much has been not covered from front to back of these things.

Make sure you do not set the parking brake prior to lifting the body off the frame!!!!!!

Oh yes Lugnut. I had read that in the forum. Looked things over since, and believe I have found everything that will need moved. Brake line at master cyl needing turned down, bracket behind tank, a few zip ties clipped. But will still take my time on doing it just in case I over looked something. Suppose to be chilly next few days, so I figure that will give me something to tinker on in the garage. Thanks again for the help and suggestions. Ken...WV..
