I can't find anything on a SQR472FF motor. So I can't tell you anything as to will it or will not fit. If that number is for a SQR472 without the FF designation then it will fit. How ever it would be the lowest powered 1100cc of the group that they make.
The SQR472 puts out 67 HP and 66 Ft/Lbs of torque. The SQR472WF puts out 72 HP and 72 Ft/Lbs of torque. The SQR472FC puts out 79 HP and 78 Ft/Lbs of torque but is actually 1200cc engine
I think it will bolt up but does it have a automatic flywheel or a standard fly wheel? Some cars are automatic and you don't want that. No one has gone there as far as I know?
Mat you may have to modify the back area of the reeper to fit the intake manifold. Also the front pulley will be right against the cross-member of the frame. You will need to make a custom air breather/filter for it also.

If all I have to do it create a breather I'm golden. I'm able to get up to 20 of these motors at $250 a piece and they only have 500 miles on all of them. So I'm willing to do some work but I do know it had an automatic tranny on it, so could be taking on more than I bargained for.
Yeah I found some prices on some Chery engines before and then the farther I got into buying one they finely told me that they where used engines with low mileage. Why would anyone pull and stack up used engines with low mileage without something wrong with them? So I backed off of trying to acquire one. Also they couldn't answer a lot of the questions I asked them. They had some attractive prices on them for a complete motors.

Ya been down that route as well. This situation I actually know the person so it helps. They ended up just pulling motors because they had too much power for tours. However I am a bit concerned about the drive train situation

silverbullet Joyner Parts Dealer. We are working on a new Chery Motors. Its Type # is SQR 371F1.0 H/P 69.4 torque 93/3500-4500 a good amount of torque..This Engine Bolts right in ECU and wiring harness. You should be able to re due a few wires to make it work. Not sure on the wiring harness. Rick If you wonder why my prices are so low is because i have great relationship with Chery. The other is i do not stock them.I get them dropped shipped.15-20 days. This price for this engine combo would be about 2,400
Being a 371 means it is a 3 cylinder. Depending on what has been updated it may not use the same ECU. It could have different sensors, mapping and things that could create the extra power. I don't know all the details of this engines specs, but using an older ECU could in a sense detune it to lower power.
I am sure Rich can give more details.

Is there an automatic for this eng. If so what would the package cost and can you get the correct ECU for it? I am really tired of shifting and clashing gears. I mostly drive mine on pretty good roads anyway and I believe an automatic would work just fine for me.

I accidentally ran my 2012 sand Reeper about 1 mile after the oil filter became detached. It still runs but I can tell it’s not right. Will I have to replace the motor (812cc Chery)? If so, where can I buy one.
As I replied to you contact request on my website. You can take it out from underneath, but requires removing the trans and differential first to make room. Or and perhaps easier is to remove the body. Depending on the work being done. If the body is off you may not have to remove the engine. I explained in my email reply what needs to be done to remove the body.

Thanks for all of your help. I spoke to Orieon Motors at Oreion yesterday and she says that the body does not have to be removed. She told me to have my mechanic call her (Oreion HQ) and she could walk him through it. She also said a good mechanic can swap out an engine in 5 hours. Whenever any of you guys/gals has a problem with parts or repairs, it is definitely worth a call to her.
